Death Cab for Cutie & CHVRCHES Coming to Volvo Car Stadium
Indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie will perform at the Volvo Car Stadium in Daniel Island on Wednesday, June 15th at 7 pm. CHVRCHES will open the concert.
The headliners are best known for their early-to-late-2000s albums Transatlanticism (2003), Plans (2005), and Narrow Stairs (2008). Plans was certified platinum and included the songs “Soul Meets Body”, “Crooked Teeth”, and “I Will Follow You into the Dark.”
They are also known for songs like “The New Year,” “The Sound of Settling,” “Grapevine Fires,” “Meet Me on the Equinox,” “Black Sun,” and “You Are a Tourist.”
CHVRCHES is a Scottish electronic band that has seen most of their success abroad. However, the group has performed at multiple US festivals and is starting to create some buzz in this country.
Tickets for the Daniel Island concert are already on sale here. The Volvo Cars Stadium was previously known as the Family Circle Stadium.
