Cyndi Lauper “Detours” to the Charleston Music Hall
Eighties Pop sensation Cyndi Lauper will be performing at the Charleston Music Hall on Thursday, June 2nd at 8 pm. The singer will be touring in support her upcoming studio album Detour, which will be available on May 6th.
The album, Lauper’s 11th studio release finds the Grammy, Emmy, and Tony-winning singer-songwriter putting her spin on a dozen classic country songs from the ‘40s, ‘50s, and ‘60s. The record will feature guest appearances from county stars Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, and Willie Nelson.
Lauper is best known for her Top-5 hits “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” “Time After Time,” “She Bop,” and “All Through the Night.”
