Lowcountry Lab Rescue Launches Shoe Collection Drive
If you have some old shoes you no longer need, consider donating them to the puppies at Lowcountry Lab Rescue (LLR). No, seriously!
The organization has teamed up with Wooftrax Shoes for Shelters Fundraiser and Funds2Orgs for a shoe collection drive running through May 15th. LLR will earn money based on the number of pairs they are given since they will all be purchased by Funds2Orgs.
But the goodwill doesn’t stop there!
All donated shoes will then be redistributed by Funds2Orgs to people in developing nations. The organization helps impoverished people start, maintain, and grow businesses in countries such as Haiti, Honduras, and other nations in Central America and Africa. Proceeds from the shoe sales are used to feed, clothe, and house their families.
