Buzzworthy: Charleston Honey & Bee Expo is this Sunday

The 5th Annual Charleston Honey & Bee Expo will be held this Sunday at Cinebarre in Mount Pleasant from 11 am until 4 pm. This free, family-friendly event should be a fun way to close out the Cooper River Bridge Run weekend.

The expo will include:

• Local honey for purchase
• The chance to learn more about bees and what you can do to help save them
• Mead-making: sample wine made from local honey
• Local beekeepers
• An observation hive with live bees
• Local honey-tastings
• Live music from The V-Tones
• Children’s activities, games, arts & crafts
• Guest Speakers and presentations
