3rd Annual Ladybug Release at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens
Magnolia Plantation and Gardens will host the family-friendly Ladybug Release on Saturday, July 23rd from 9 am until 2 pm.
More than 150,000 ladybugs will be set free in the Lowcountry’s largest one-time release and your children could have a hands-on part in the event. Each child in attendance will receive a small container housing ladybugs for them to release.
Plus, prizes will be awarded for the best ladybug costume in the age categories of two years old and younger, three to six, and seven and older.
During the event, there will also be nature displays, a red Volkswagen beetle resembling a gigantic ladybug, face painting, and other activities on the property.
A $15 general garden admission is required to participate. Children aged 6 to 12 have a $10 admission, while children under six are free.
