CMH Presents: R.E.M. Rock Violin Concerto with Mike Mills & Bobby McDuffie
On Saturday, October 29th, the Charleston Music Hall will present “R.E.M. Rock Violin Concerto” with Mike Mills and Bobby McDuffie! Tickets range from $25 to $45 and go on-sale Friday, September 2nd at 10 am. The show starts at 8 pm.
Concerto for Violin, Rock Band and String Orchestra, the first-ever classical work composed and performed by R.E.M. bassist and songwriter Mike Mills, is set for release on October 14th. Mills composed the piece for his longtime friend – critically acclaimed violinist Robert McDuffie.
During their tour in support of the release, Mills and McDuffie be joined by Chicago’s chamber orchestra Fifth House Ensemble.
