Basketball Tourney Returns to the USS Yorktown’s Deck
Have you ever dreamed of taking part in a battle on the historic deck of the USS Yorktown? This October, you’ll be able to do just that…if you’re a basketball fan.If you board the famous ship on Saturday, October 29th, you’ll notice that basketball hoops, not fighter jets, align the deck. That’s because BallersWorld, a pick-up basketball website, will once again host The Battle on the Deck, a day-long, 3-on-3 tournament.
The event will include food, music, children’s activities, and tons of basketball games! The tournament will include age-based brackets (starting at 10 years old), a co-ed bracket, and a corporate bracket. It’s $100 per team to participate. Parking is $5.
