Itinerant Literate and The Junction Kitchen & Provisions Team For “Get Lit” Book & Dinner Club

Local bookmobile Itinerant Literate and Park Circle’s The Junction Kitchen & Provisions have teamed up for a book and dinner event series, dubbed the “Get Lit” book club.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, January 24th, for the book Still Mine by Amy Stuart. The event starts at 6:30 pm with a meet-and-greet half hour, followed by discussion at 7 pm. Stuart will Skype in for a Q&A session after discussion.

Each month, the group reads a new novel, and from the description or mention of food in the book, The Junction will create a three-course tasting menu paired with wine ($25).

Purchasing your book — physical or digital — from Itinerant Literate comes with a glass of wine during the event’s initial meet-and-greet. After attending six events, attendees earn a bottle of wine from Junction and a gift from Itinerant Literate.

Itinerant Literate brings a selection of their general stock for the event, and Junction allows attendees to make additional purchases from their to-go market – local produce, cheeses, coffee, wine, and beer.
