Respite Care Charleston Golf Tournament Scheduled for April

On Monday, April 3rd, Respite Care Charleston will host the 13th Annual Respite Care Charleston Golf Tournament at Seabrook Island. This annual fund raising tournament is sponsored by the Doscher Family in honor of Betty Cannon, a long time participant in the Respite Care program.

Golfer and sponsorship slots are still available for the tournament at Seabrook Island Crooked Oak golf course. For the cost of a single green fee ($150), each golfer can enjoy lunch, refreshments, and dinner in the Atlantic Ballroom at the Seabrook Island Club.

Tournament Schedule:

Registration begins at 11 am
Putting Contest at 12 pm
Shotgun start begins at 1 pm with a reception and awards following completion of play (around 5:30 pm)

Respite Care Charleston is a non-profit organization that strives to improve the quality of life for individuals and families coping with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Respite Care Charleston provides social day programs, support groups for early stage Alzheimer’s, disease, and caregiver support groups for individuals and families affected by memory disorders. Participants in their respite programs enjoy memory stimulating socialization, music therapy and gentle exercise. Family caregivers can benefit from a much-needed break by taking their loved ones for the activity filled day programs.
