Historically, Marion Square has served as an ideal location for adding stunning backdrop to the event which injects more colors and flair to the local style scene.

Apart from showcasing talents in the fashion industry, this event also aims at collecting funds for charitable purposes. For example, the event has always collected funds that would benefit medical Universities and hospitals. Also, the runway shows are a competition where emerging talents will undergo the semi-finals to be crowned with the most coveted awards in the emerging Designers category. Winners are awarded cash and mentorship from renowned world class designers.
