27th Annual Folly Beach Sea & Sand Festival Scheduled for April

The 27th Annual Sea & Sand Festival, Folly Beach’s longest-running event, will be held from Friday, April 7th through Sunday, April 9th. The event features over 85 local art and food vendors throughout Folly River Park and Center Street.

Friday, April 7, 2017

• 7:30 pm – 4th Annual Miss Sea & Sand Pageant at Folly River Park
  • Winners in various age groups will have the opportunity to wear their crowns and sashes during the Sea & Sand Festival

Saturday, April 8, 2017

• 11 am –  Street Party on Center Street
  • Stretches stretches up Center Street, from Huron to Ashley, with even more vendors in Folly River Park
  • Art vendors
  • Restaurant/food vendors
  • Six live bands on two stages
    • Washout Stage
      • 11 am – 1:30 pm: Don’t Mess with the Tiger
      • 2 pm – 4:30 pm: Jimmy Buffett Tribute by Folly Pirates Over 40
    • Ashley Stage
      • 11 am – 1:30 pm: One Kool Blow
      • 2 pm – 4:30 pm: Guilt Ridden Troubadour
  • Kids activities zone
    • A four-station bungee jump trampoline
    • Carnival games
    • Face-painting & more
  • A mechanical bull
  • Corn hole
  • Silent auction
  • Book signing

• 1 pm – Sand Sculpture Competition on the beach in front of Tides Hotel
  • Tides will have live music on the deck during and after the competition
