Freshfields Village to Host Multiple Easter Weekend Events

In celebration of spring and Easter weekend, Freshfields Village will host an array of events for the whole family from Friday, April 14th to Sunday, April 16th.

Take a look at the events schedule below:

Friday, April 14th

• Special spring edition of Music on the Green
  • Local, four- piece band Port Authority will perform on the Village Green from 6 to 9 pm Guests can expect tunes ranging from oldies to beach music to Motown classics and top 40 hits.
  • Free and open to the public
  • Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or beach chairs
  • Beer and wine will be available for purchase from FortyEight – A Wine Bar

Saturday, April 15th

• Spring Festival
  • 11 am to 3 pm
  • Activities for kids and adults
  • Children will enjoy a jump castle, inflatable slide, bungee-trampoline, face-painting, balloon animals, spring crafts, and a show with interactive performer John Cusatis
  • Local food vendors will sell treats such as sno-cones, kettle corn, popsicles, and more
  • Families will have a chance to take a photo with the Easter Bunny
  • The St. John’s Fire Department will host their annual “Spring Into Safety” event during the festival
  • Tours of the fire engine, fire extinguisher training, escape planning, safety tips and a visit from Sparky the Fire Dog
  • Artwork from members of the Kiawah and Seabrook Artist Guilds
  • Wine or beer from FortyEight – A Wine Bar

Sunday, April 16th

• Casual, non-denominational Easter Service on the Village Green
  • 9:30 am
  • Chairs or blankets are recommended for those attending
