Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! Charleston Honey & Bee Expo is Sunday
The 6th Annual Charleston Honey & Bee Expo will be held this Sunday at Cinebarre in Mount Pleasant from 11 am until 4 pm. This free, family-friendly event should be a fun way to close out the Cooper River Bridge Run weekend.
The expo will include:
- Local honey for purchase
- Free honey tastings
- Honey Cotton Candy
- The chance to learn more about bees and what you can do to help save them
- Local beekeepers
- An observation hive with live bees
- “Ask a Master Gardener” booth
- Meet experts
- Free displays
- Food Trucks providing menu items utilizing local honey
- Mead-making: sample wine made from local honey
- Guest Speakers and presentations
