Home Team BBQ, Revelry Brewing & Virgil Kaine Team for “Talk Derby to Me”

On Saturday, May 6th, Home Team BBQ in downtown Charleston will partner with Revelry Brewing and Virgil Kaine Lowcountry Whiskey Co. to host “Talk Derby to Me,” a party celebrating the Kentucky Derby.

Admission includes:

• One drink ticket (two tickets if you are dressed up for the Derby)
  • Special cocktails will be offered for the event
    • Virgil Kaine Kentucky Mules
    • Frozen Virgil Kaine Mint Julep
• Tea sandwiches by Chef Jonathan Banta
• Live music by Bootless

Attendees will also receive tickets to “bet” on the races with. Winners will received swag from all three hosts. There is also a cash prize for the best dressed male and female.

A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit Hogs for the Cause, an organization that provides aid and relief of those variable expenses and economic burdens families face while their child is being treated for pediatric brain cancer.

Tickets are $25 if purchased in advance ($30 at the door) and can be purchased here. The party will run from  3 pm to 7 pm at Home Team BBQ’s downtown restaurant (126 Williman Street).
