Chef and Farmer Join Forces to Create New Downtown Restaurant

Published

on

Two locals – one a chef, the other a farmer – are teaming up to launch Charleston’s newest restaurant.  Nathan Thurston, restaurant consultant, chef, and owner of Thurston Southern Catering has partnered with Greg Johnsman, owner, miller, and farmer at Geechie Boy Mill, to open a “brunch-centric” restaurant at 120 King Street.

When it opens later this year, Miller’s All Day will operate seven days a week, starting with just breakfast and lunch. Dinner service will eventually be added. The restaurant will be located in the former home of Bull Street Gourmet.

No opening date has been announced yet. Holy City Sinner will be sure to pass along the info as it becomes available.
