Republic Hosts Charleston Jazz Jam on Sunday

Charleston Jazz will host its Piccolo Spoleto “Jazz Jam” at Republic Garden and Lounge on Sunday, May 28th from 7:30 pm to 10 pm. The event is free and open to the public.

Charleston Jazz encourages local jazz musicians to stop by and share their talent on the stage. The house jam band includes the following musicians:

• David Carter – Trumpet
• Richard White – Piano
• Brian Reed – Bass
• Bates Holman – Drums

Republic Garden and Lounge is located at 462 King Street in downtown Charleston.

Charleston Jazz is a non-profit organization with a goal of promoting musical awareness and education including the recognition and preservation of the history of jazz in the Lowcountry through performances, special events and educational outreach
