Johns Island Book Sale to be Held This Month

On Friday, July 28th and Saturday, July 29th, the John’s Island Book Sale, offered by the Charleston Friends of the Library, will be held at the John’s Island Regional Library. Admission to the sale is free.

Over 10,000 books, DVDs, and CDs will be available with prices starting as low as 50 cents. Items include mysteries, romances, classics, children’s books, local histories, cookbooks, and a variety of non-fiction topics. Prices start at $1 for paperbacks, $3 for hardback books, and 50 cents for children’s books.

The schedule is as follows:

• Friday, July 28th: 9 am – 5:30 pm
• Saturday, July 29thh: 9 am – 4 pm

Friends of the Library members will be able to shop on Thursday evening from 5 pm to 7:30 pm. Members can join at the door.

The John’s Island Regional Library is located at 3531 Maybank Hwy.
