Charles Towne Fermentory and Wich Cream Collaborate On New Ice Cream Sandwich

Charleston’s own Wich Cream ice cream sandwich company has teamed up with local brewery Charles Towne Fermentory to create a new ice cream sandwich variety.

The “Mars Express” features ice cream made with Charles Towne Fermentory’s Mars Express pale ale (notes of peach, citrus, and tropical fruit) and roasted local peaches from Shuler Peach Co. This is paired with Wich Cream’s blonde Carolina gourdseed wafers.

For those wondering, the alcohol is removed during the cooking process.
