Local Businesses Top off Back-to-School Drive for the Boys of Windwood Farm
The boys of Windwood Farm and Family Services will be getting some back-to-school support from some local Charleston businesses this year. Barrelli Barber, Stella Nova Spa, Salon & Beauty Boutique and Paisano’s Pizza are hosting the boys from Windwood Farms at Barrelli Barber on Saturday, August 12th for free Back-to-School haircuts and a pizza party.
School supplies that have been collected over the summer will also donated to the organization that day.
Windwood Farm serves children and their families through residential, outpatient and community based prevention programs throughout the tri-county area with a mission to prevent child abuse and neglect and build foundations to influence futures. “Windwood Farms invests in children and families so that these kids have an opportunity to grow and develop in a positive, healthy way,” says organizer Alie Rudolph of Barrelli Barber. “and our business community is proud to invest in the organization and to treat the kids to a fun day.”
