Restaurant Wholesale Store Plans for North Charleston Arrival
Restaurant Depot, a food wholesaler for independent restaurants and business owners, has announced the opening of its second South Carolina location. The wholesaler is slated to open a 65,000 square-foot-facility in the spring of 2018 at the Shipwatch Square development along Meeting Street Road in North Charleston.
Restaurant Depot’s main business is to provide a one-stop shopping experience for a lower cost than traditional food delivery service.
The business is estimated to create approximately 50 jobs upon opening, with additional employees to be added to the team following business growth.
A privately-owned company in business for more than 40 years, Restaurant Depot currently operates a store in Mauldin, South Carolina, as well as more than 120 stores across 32 states.
