The Steeplechase of Charleston Returns in November
After a successful first run back in April, The Steeplechase of Charleston returns to the Plantation at Stono Ferry Racetrack on Sunday, November 12th. The event features five races with the first starting at 1 pm.This family-friendly event include a Vendor Village for shopping, a variety of food trucks, various tailgating areas, and more.
The Race Schedule includes –
- 9 am: Gates Open
- 10 am: Terrier Races
- 12 pm: Opening Ceremonies
- 12:30 pm: Hat Contest & Best Dressed Contest
- 1 pm: First Race
- 1:30 pm: Second Race
- 1:45 pm: Best Tailgate Contest
- 2 pm: Third Race
- 2:30 pm: Fourth Race
- 3 pm: Fifth Race
- 5 pm: Gates close
