Be A Mentor Announces 5th Annual Going Places Gala
Be A Mentor (BAM), a one-on-one, school-based mentoring initiative, has begun ticket sales for their 5th Annual Going Places Gala. The event will be held in Sterling Hall at Hyatt Place & Hyatt House Historic District on November 9th from 7 pm to 10 pm.
The event features
- Live music by Charleston’s The Lowhills
- Light fare by Bricklane Catering, Cru Catering, Salthouse Catering, and Tristan Catering & Event
- Silent auction featuring packages from Airbnb, JetBlue, Charleston Wine + Food, and more
Event tickets are all-inclusive and directly support BAM’s school-based mentoring programs that
enable students to tap into their potential and reach new heights. Thanks to funds raised
through last year’s gala, BAM was able to grow their programs and serve 376 students in 23
Lowcountry schools last school year. Funds raised will ensure more children across the Lowcountry have mentors to support them in pursuing their dreams.
