Lowcountry Trail Half Marathon and 5K set for October 14th on Johns Island

The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission invites trail runners to mark their calendars and start training! On Saturday, October 14th, the Lowcountry Trail Half Marathon and 5K returns to Johns Island County Park.
Both the Half Marathon and 5K events will begin at 8:30 am. Spectators are welcome.
Registration for the Half Marathon is $40, while registration for the 5K is $28. “Move It” passholders can receive discounted registration. Post-race beverages and live music are included.
Online registration for the Lowcountry Trail Half Marathon and 5K is available at CharlestonCountyParks.com and will end at 3 pm. on October 13th. Walk-up registration will be accepted on race morning from 7 – 8 am.
The race is open to ages 10 and up. Ages 10-15 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone (registration and participation not required for chaperone).
Johns Island County Park, the site of Mullet Hall Equestrian Center, is located at 2662 Mullet Hall Road, just off of River Road.
