Donate Critically-Needed Items for Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief
Charleston residents Melody Shemtov, Rachel Inabinette, and Emily Cox are coordinating a delivery of critically-needed items for hurricane relief to aid Puerto Rico. Drop boxes are located at Butcher and Bee, the Daily, all Home Team BBQ locations, and East Cooper Family Pharmacy.
Donations are being collected through Monday night. Local moving company College Hunks Hauling Junk has donated a vehicle and a driver to deliver the donations to the Medshare distribution center in Atlanta to be sent to Puerto Rico via private plane.
The following items are requested:
- Baby Food/Formula
- Bug Repellent Spray (no aerosol)
- Baby and Adult Diapers
- Hand Sanitizer
- Baby Wipes
- Disinfectant Wipes
- Feminine Products
- Trash Bags
- Over The Counter Medication
- Bottled Water
- Batteries (NO Lithium)
- Dog and Cat Food
- Umbrellas
- Anything Solar Powered
All donated items must be non-perishable and new in packaging. Clothes and toys are not currently being accepted. Open or unsealed donations will not be accepted. Click here for more information.
