Carolina Ice Palace’s 20th Anniversary Celebration Set for 11/4
The Carolina Ice Palace will celebrate twenty years of being the Lowcountry’s only ice skating facility with an afternoon of special demonstrations and activities on November 4th from 12 pm to 3 pm.
Activities will include:
- Face Painting, Balloon Twisting, and a Photo Booth
- Hockey Demonstrations
- See skaters in the venue’s hockey program run drills and showcase their skills
- Figure Skating Exhibition
- A program exhibition from a local figure skater
- Special Session Pricing
- $5 pricing for public skating session (12:30 pm – 2:30 pm, while skate rentals are available)
- Giveaways
- Enter for a chance to win tickets to the upcoming Holiday on Ice Show, a Birthday Party, Family Night Special, a set of Hockey Lessons, a set of Learn to Skate Lessons and more

Since 1997, the Carolina Ice Palace has hosted numerous hockey tournaments and figure skating competitions, including the USA Hockey “Pee Wee” National Championship and the South Atlantic Regionals Figure Skating Championships. The NHL’s Buffalo Sabres and St. Louis Blues have skated at the venue along with Gold Medal Olympian Tara Lipinski and 2017 U.S. Champion Nathan Chen.
