Home Team BBQ Launches Series of Early Week Entertainment in West Ashley

Last week, Home Team BBQ kicked off an ongoing series of free, weekly events at the restaurant’s West Ashley location, providing entertainment and culinary features Monday through Wednesday.

Guests can test their knowledge of pop culture and current events during “Geeks Who Drink” trivia on Monday evenings beginning at 8 pm. Come with a group, and play for the chance to win prizes. First place winner receives a $50 Home Team BBQ gift card, second place wins a $30 gift card, and third place wins a $20 gift card. 

Moving from Monday to Tuesday evenings, Home Team BBQ’s popular “Holy City Confessionals” presents a Nashville-style singer/songwriter showcase, giving local Charleston musicians a chance to perform their original works on stage. The music begins at 7 pm, and is emceed by Danielle Howle. Guests can enjoy Chef Madison Ruckel’s menu feature of the evening, a smoked prime rib meal. 

On Wednesday, the musical entertainment continues with “Live Wire Wednesdays,” a rotating lineup of regional and touring artists. Performances begin at 7 pm, but Ruckel’s hot chicken feature is available all night.
