Deep Water Vineyard Hosts Boots, Bottles, and Blessings on 11/11

Deep Water Vineyard will host their annual “Boots, Bottles, & Blessings” festival on Saturday, November 11th from 10 am to 5 pm. The family-friendly event was formerly known as the Blessing of the Vines.

This year’s event will offer oenophiles the following:

• The blessing of the muscadine grapevines by a priest
• Football on the big screen
• Cornhole
• Face Painting
• Drinks
  • Slushies for kids
  • Wine-a-ritas for adults
    
  • Hot mulled wine
  • Hot cocoa
  • Bloody Mary’s for charity until noon
  • Low Tide Brewing
  • Deep Water Vineyard and Firefly Distillery tastings every 30 minutes
• Food trucks
  • Gidget Gourmet
  • Immortal Lobster
  • Vicious Biscuit
  • Damiano’s
  • Miss Katie’s Sweets
• Live music
  • 11 am – Jah Creation
  • 1 pm – Sufferin’ Moses
  • 3 pm – John King

Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to relax on. Dogs are allowed on leashes only. No coolers are allowed.

Round trip transportation will leave from the Visitor’s Center (375 Meeting Street) at 12 pm on Nov 11th and will leave the Vineyard by 5:30 pm.

Children 12 and under do not need an admission ticket.
