I’ve started a list of restaurants that will be open on New Year’s Eve*. This is definitely not a complete list, so if you know of any additions, please let me know (christian@holycitysinner.com)!

    • Two Special Seatings for guests from 5 pm – 7:30 pm and 8 pm – 11 pm
    • Menu highlights include:
      • Seared Scallops served with sweet potato, black garlic, lime and beef jus
      • Bavette Steak served with fall squash, tomato and pickled chilis
      • Guests can also enjoy dessert offerings from Apple Stack Cake to Affogato served with peanut butter brownie ice cream and espresso

    • The restaurant will have some add-on items and a special decadent course on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. The featured menu items include:
      • 1 lb. New York Certified Angus Beef 40-day dry aged steak
      • Shaved truffles added to any dish
      • A caviar course with soft scrambled eggs, toast, and various toppings
      • Krug Grande Cuvee by the glass and bottle at super cheap prices
        • The special course features the caviar course topped with truffles and a glass of Krug Grande Cuvee

    • Open 5 pm to 12:30 am
    • Menu includes:
      • Starter: Lobster bisque with grilled crostini and basil ($12)
      • Starter: Salad of Champagne and butter-poached lobster with mesculin, manchego, blistered cherry tomato, shaved radish, and blueberry and green tea reduction ($21)
      • Starter: A roasted hearts of romaine Caesar salad with garlic herb croutons and shaved Parmesan is a second salad alternative ($12)
      • Entrée: Local rainbow trout with charred asparagus, smoked Gouda grit cake, pecan apple butter, sweet potato crisp and trout roe ($36)
      • Entrée: Braised bone-in short rib with farro pilaf, herbed zucchini & spaghetti squash with a blistered tomatoes bordelaise ($45)
      • Dessert: A duo of white and dark chocolate chip bread pudding, rum crème anglaise, shaved dark chocolate and fresh whipped vanilla cream with mixed berries ($10)

    • Kids’ Bash special menu and event on New Year’s Eve from 5 pm to 9 pm
      • Children aged 3 to 12 can select from a buffet of mac ‘n cheese, peanut butter ‘n jelly sliders, chicken tenders, mini pancakes, bacon, crudité, and fruit plates ($6 per child)
      • They will toast 2018 every hour with milk and cookies
      • The staff will keep an eye on the kids while the parents enjoy grown-up celebrations and libations
  • Toast of West Ashley
    • Open 7 am to 9 pm on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
