DJ SCrib and Ill Vibe The Tribe Present: SCrib & Friends

On Friday, December 15, 2017 at The Purple Buffalo, Charleston powerhouse DJ SCrib has teamed up with local master curators Ill Vibe the Tribe in celebration for “SCrib & Friends”, night one of a weekend long take over between the two brands including #ArtBinge (December 16th at The Royal American) and #TheRecoveryBrunch (December 17th at Dellz On The Macon). “SCrib & Friends” is a super bash celebrating DJ SCrib entering 7 successful years in his DJ Career. SCrib has summoned some of Charleston’s best up and coming DJs including Illadell, BlackDave, and his own protege SistaMisses, who will be blending sounds from mainstream as well as local artists throughout the night. There will be a few surprise performances, but you have to be there to unlock who the special guests will be.

Having DJ’d 44 mixes, 21 shows, 276 parties and counting it’s safe to say DJ SCrib deserves his flowers. SCrib is an integral part of pushing hip hop culture in Charleston and beyond, so it’s only right that the city honors him for a night! “SCrib & Friends” is a party, a celebration, and showcase all wrapped into one momentous event. Each DJ will have 30 minutes to show out for the crowd, all leading up to SCrib’s masterset to close out the night.

New to the DJ scene but a staple in the hip hop community in Charleston, IllaDell’s dj style is much like his personality, high energy, bass heavy, and electrifying. He will make you dance!  Known as the go to guy for the many hats he wears, Black Dave as a dj is cool, laid back, and has mixes of your favorite songs you didn’t even know existed. The new lady on the block, SistaMisses has hit the scene with bang! Funky, retro, hip, and encapsulating, SistaMisses brings a whole new flavor to Charleston’s hip hop scene.

“SCrib & Friends” is a night you can’t miss! DJ SCrib and IllVibeTheTribe plan on going for a triple treat taking over the whole weekend with holiday surprises and events.
