New Exhibit at Miller Gallery to Feature Jo Hay, Hunt Slonem, and Shepard Fairey

On February 23rd, Miller Gallery opens their newest exhibit, “Fire&Grace.” The all-star show will feature the work of roster artist Jo Hay as well as select artworks by internationally recognized artists Hunt Slonem and Shepard Fairey. This exhibit will be held in collaboration with The New Gallery of Modern Art from Charlotte, NC.

The showcase includes the newest paintings by British-American artist Jo Hay, who is known for her vibrant oil paintings and bold subject matters. “Fire&Grace” will incorporate both human and rabbit portraits by Hay. Her recent series “Persisters”’ depicts societal influencers including Rachael Maddow and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Hay says “Persisters” is an ongoing series of portrait paintings of outstanding women who have made an impression with their tenacious resolve to succeed in their pursuit of justice.

The exhibit will also include works from Slonem and Charleston native Fairey.
