The SC Aquarium’s Good Catch Oysterfest Returns in Early February

It’s oyster season in the Lowcountry, and the South Carolina Aquarium will pay tribute to this local delicacy with the 4th Annual Good Catch Oysterfest on Friday, February 2nd. The all-inclusive, 21+ event will feature sustainably-sourced oysters, small plates from Good Catch partner restaurants, a beer and wine bar, and live entertainment.

Good Catch Oysterfest kicks off at the South Carolina Aquarium at 7:30 p.m. Casual (and warm) dress is encouraged—fresh, steamed oysters provided by RightOnQue will be served family-style outdoors on the Aquarium’s Harbor Overlook. Food stations will be set up throughout the building where Good Catch partners including Fleet Landing Restaurant and Bar, The Boathouse at Breach Inlet, and Acme Lowcountry Kitchen will be serving small plates with big tastes.

An open beer and wine bar is included with the all-inclusive ticket; beverage service will also include non-alcoholic options. The Bluestone Ramblers will provide live music and while guests snack on tasty local seafood, tour the Aquarium, and toast to the evening.

VIP ticket holders will enjoy all of the above plus early access to the festivities and food from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, a private bar, and special hors d’oeuvres by Slightly North of Broad.
