SCE&G Canadys Station Employees, The Peanut Gang Hosts Golf Tournament Benefiting Camp Happy Days on June 9
On Saturday, June 9th, The Peanut Gang, group of South Carolina Electric & Gas (SCE&G) employees and retirees will host a Golf Tournament at Hilcrest Golf Course in Orangeburg, South Carolina benefiting local nonprofit organizations, Camp Happy Days and Camp Kemo.
The Peanut Gang has been assisting Camp Happy Days for 26 years. Camp Happy Days’ mission is to offer support, guidance, and leadership to children diagnosed with cancer in South Carolina while also providing cost free year-round programs, special events, and crisis resources. Each year at Camp Happy Days’ Annual Summer Camp, The Peanut Gang serves boiled peanuts and cold soft drinks to children battling cancer and their siblings.
The Golf Tournament will consist of four-man teams, captain’s choice. Prizes will be awarded for 1st place and 2nd place. There will also be random drawings as well as closest to the pin and long drive.
The entry fee is $50 per player and sponsorship opportunities are available.
