Gay Bingo, the marquee fundraiser for Palmetto Community Care (formerly Lowcountry AIDS Services), returns to the Memminger Auditorium on Thursday, August 16th from 6 pm to 10 pm. This year’s event will feature hostess Patti O’Furniture, a costume contest, rainbows, unicorns, glitter, and more.
Tickets are limited and have sold out the last two years, so purchase early to guarantee a spot. Tickets are sale now at www.CharlestonGayBingo.org. The VIP ticket option includes a pre-event reception at 5 pm with complimentary bubbles, premium seating in the reserved VIP section, and a free drink ticket. Reserved tables for 10 people are also available.
Gay Bingo, “where the winner is never a straight line and everyone has a ball,” includes six games of bingo, food trucks, prizes for the best costumes and performances by Patti O’Furniture, the “Camp Queen of the Carolinas,” who performs regularly at Dudley’s on Ann in downtown Charleston. Winners for each game receive fabulous prize packages, including spa treatments, restaurant gift certificates, fun experiences, and much more.
Event proceeds benefit Palmetto Community Care in its work providing complete compassionate HIV care and prevention services to the tri-county area.
