Parkland Shooting Survivors Reportedly Bringing their March For Our Lives Tour to Charleston
This summer, the students of March For Our Lives are making stops across America to get young people educated, registered, and motivated to vote. The March For Our Lives: Road to Change tour, which includes Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students Emma Gonzalez, Jaclyn Corin, Cameron Kasky, and recent graduates David Hogg and Delaney Tarr, is reportedly stopping in Charleston on July 31st.
The summer bus tour grew out of the March For Our Lives event that was held in Washington, D.C. on March 24th. The movement is dedicated to student-led activism around ending gun violence and the epidemic of mass shootings in American schools today.
The current and former Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students survived a mass shooting at their school’s Parkland, Florida campus on February 14th.
Check back for updates on the group’s stop in Charleston.
