Charleston Pride Hosts a “Toast to Equality” Cocktail Competition on 8/4
Charleston Pride invites the community to attend their Toast to Equality on Saturday, August 4th at the Charleston Visitor Center & Bus Shed. The celebration will include live music, food trucks, and a cocktail contest between several of the Holy City’s best restaurants and bars.
The competition will feature twelve local establishments working with six different liquors for your vote. The winning beverage becomes the Official Cocktail of Charleston Pride 2018.
The contenders are scheduled to be:
- DIG in the Park
- Dudleys On Ann
- El Jefe CHS
- Proof
- The MacIntosh
- The Pub on 61
- The Shelter Kitchen + Bar
- Tabbuli Grill – Mediterranean & American
- Toast of Charleston
- Voodoo
- Semilla
- Recovery Room
They’ll be making cocktails with these liquors:
- New Amsterdam Peach Vodka
- Camarena Tequila
- New Amsterdam Pineapple Vodka
- Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey
- New Amsterdam Grapefruit Vodka
- RumHaven
Attendees can also grab some bites from participating food trucks:
- Charleston Caribbean Creole Food Truck
- DIG in the Park
- King of Pops
- Semilla
Mike Edwards from Mix 95.9’s “2 Girls and a Guy” will be the event’s host.
Tickets are $15 if purchased online or $20 at the door. Admission is free for Friends of Pride. Your ticket includes:
