Palmetto Carriage Works to Host Kids Class on Friday Morning

Published

on

In honor of National Meet a Horse Day, Palmetto Carriage Works will host a kids education class from 10 am to 10:30 am on Friday, July 27th. The event was originally scheduled for last Friday, but was postponed due to flooding downtown.

Children are invited to the barn at 8 Guignard Street where they will get up close and personal with a carriage horse. Participants will get a behind-the-scenes tour of the barn, learn all about what it takes to care for a horse, and how they do their job.

The class is free to children of all ages and parking is available at 22 Anson Street. Guests are invited to take a complimentary carriage tour immediately following the event.

For more information on the event, contact Victoria Moore of Palmetto Carriage Works at 843-723-8145 or Victoria@palmettocarriage.com.
