Home Team BBQ to Host “Feast for Freedom” Benefiting Doors To Freedom
On Thursday, August 16th, the community is invited to come out and support Doors To Freedom during Home Team BBQ’s happy hour in West Ashley. The event will run from 3 pm to 6 pm.
During happy hour, the restaurant will donate 25% of all proceeds Doors to Freedom, a non-profit, that aims to provide a safe place for survivors of sex trafficking to experience a transformed life.
The organization’s goal is to “lovingly support each individual as she overcomes her traumatic past and receives total restoration: mind, body and spirit. (They), as an agency, are committed to providing a place free of charge for these girls to call home. Through (their) guided personal growth, life skills training, vocational training and academic education (they) are certain that she will find a new life, restored hope, and a beautiful future.”
