UPDATE: Hospitality Job Fair Scheduled for October 9th
Attention Charleston area job seekers: Explore Charleston has rescheduled its next hospitality job fair for Tuesday, October 9, from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at the Cedar Room in the Cigar Factory.
Members of the Charleston Area Hospitality Association (CAHA) and the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association (GCRA) are seeking qualified applicants to fill immediate job openings in a variety of hospitality and culinary positions, both full and part-time, many with long-term career potential. The event is FREE to attend and will feature Belmond Charleston Place, Planters Inn / Peninsula Grill, The Restoration, Fleet Landing, DoubleTree by Hilton, Indigo Road and others who will all be present to discuss their openings.
It’s recommended that you come professionally dressed with several copies of your resume (if you have one)! For transportation, it’s recommended that you utilize CARTA services. Information about CARTA and the Hospitality On Peninsula (HOP) routes can be found here.
The idea behind a neighborhood job fair is to connect employers who have job openings with residents that live within close proximity. Explore Charleston will host other neighborhood job fairs in the coming months as part of its initiatives in Workforce Development for the hospitality industry.
