Local Sweet Adelines Group to Raise Money by Performing Live “Hollygrams”
The Southern Harmony Chorus chapter of Sweet Adelines International is kicking off a special fundraiser to bring in much needed funding while spreading holiday cheer. During the month of November, they are taking orders for live “Hollygrams.”
For a $5 donation per person, Southern Harmony Chorus will call your recipient and perform one of four holiday greetings live on select dates in early December. By purchasing Hollygrams, you will be supporting this local non-profit while sending an unforgettable gift.
The Southern Harmony Chorus performs regularly throughout the community, and competes annually in a regional competition. This past spring, Southern Harmony Chorus received the Most Improved in Sound Award for the Heart of the Blue Ridge Region of more than 800 singers, and Director Tom Nawrocki received the Excellence in Leadership Award. In 2017, Southern Harmony Chorus brought home 3rd place medals in Division A (Small Chorus Division) from regional competition.
