The Volvo Car Open will add several new events and experiences for its 2019 tournament, scheduled March 30th to April 7th on Daniel Island. In addition to its wide range of current on-and-off-court entertainment options, this year the Volvo Car Open is hosting a Gospel Brunch, an immersive yoga event, and an enhanced Family Weekend. The tournament has also updated its dining experience to include a restaurant and sports bar on-site, as well in-seat food and beverage delivery via the Volvo Car Open’s app.

“Each year we look to expand our fan offerings both on and off the court,” Bob Moran, Volvo Car Open Tournament Director, said. “The expanded Family Weekend, presented by MUSC Health, yoga event and Gospel Brunch will really bring to life our venue and facilities. All of our new events will be in high demand so I’m urging our fans to get their tickets!”

New events at the Volvo Car Open include:

In addition to the new events, the Volvo Car Open will also improve its food and beverage program for patrons. The tournament will build a rooftop restaurant, featuring food from Coastal Crust and Vintage Café, where attendees can make reservations to dine throughout the week.

The tournament will also create a main dining hospitality tent, the Serve & Volley, providing a respite for attendees, with two prevalent Charleston restaurant concepts providing the catering. The Ultra Club sports bar will feature a lounge area with televisions, couches and shade, along with a myriad of drink options and food trucks. The tournament will share more information on the restaurant concepts and menus within the coming month.
