Charleston Named One of America’s Best Cities for Getting Away With the Girls

Travel & Leisure recently included Charleston in its list of “America’s Best Cities for Getting Away With the Girls.” Whether traveling for “a bachelorette party, a divorce celebration or a just-because getaway,” the publication says the Holy City is one of the country’s top places to hang out with your besties.

Here’s what the magazine had to say about Charleston’s inclusion on the list:

“You might be too awestruck to actually Instagram the vibrant, historic houses that line the Battery, but the experience walking along the harbor will be memorable even without the photo documentation.” The writers also suggested visiting the Gibbes Museum of Art, the Unitarian Church Cemetery, and attending a gospel brunch at Hall’s Chophouse.
