P&C: Spanglish to Take Over Former Bluerose Space

Published

on

Spanglish finally has a home. The Post & Courier’s Hanna Raskin first reported that the Cuban-American concept, which spent time in Workshop and as a pop-up restaurant, will open as Spanglish Cocina + Bar in West Ashley this May. Owners Tomas and Lynda Prado will be setting up shop at 652 St. Andrews Blvd., which is now the former home of Bluerose.

Raskin wrote that Bluerose “on Tuesday closed of its own accord.” You can get all the details on both moves here.

Tomas and Lynda celebrated the news on Facebook saying, in part:

“The news is HUGE…well, it’s pretty huge for us! We are so thrilled to be able to announce that we have finally found a permanent home here in Charleston! There are so many people that we would love to thank for their support, generosity and friendship and for never letting go of our hand throughout this entire process….Thank you to this beautiful city for welcoming us and treating us as one of your own. We can’t wait to see what’s next.
