Frothy Beard’s “May The 4th Be With You” Party will Benefit Pupperty Arts
Tuffy Tiger, an arts in education outreach program of the Charleston-based nonprofit charity Puppetry Arts, recently released an album and will take part in Frothy Beard Brewing Company’s “May The 4th Be With You” event next month.
The Puppetry Arts programming is provided to public schools at no cost to teacher or parents. The organization works with emerging artists and students to create digital and visual programming for parents and teachers to use such as music videos, digital games, and educational worksheets. To help amplify this outreach, Puppetry Arts produced a new album featuring Tuffy and will be part of Frothy Beard’s community event fundraiser to support this free programming.
Hosted at Frothy Beard and Zombie Bob’s Pizza, the free “May The 4th Be With You” event will have arts and crafts and activities for kids and adults celebrating Star Wars. Attendees can meet Tuffy Tiger, the Chick-Fil-A Cow, and Charlie T. Riverdog! There will also be a Charleston Fire Department fire truck, a bounce house, games, free Krispy Kreme, pet adoptions, and prizes from noon to 4 pm for kids. Crafts and activities for kids are free; raffles and bounce house are $2.
In the evening (6 pm – 9 pm), there will be a Star Wars-themed trivia contest for adults. Both events will host raffles and costume contests.
Tuffy Tiger’s new album was released and is available here. The album targets toddlers with empowering songs encouraging positive life lessons.
