West Ashley Farmers Market to Begin 2019 Season on April 24th

The West Ashley Farmers Market (WAFM) will return to Ackerman Park to begin its 2019 season on Wednesday, April 24th. The weekly market, which runs from 3 pm to 7 pm, will continue through Wednesday, October 2nd.
The WAFM is dedicated to the support and advocacy of local farmers and growers and features fresh seasonal produce, as well as sweet and savory foods from area vendors who source ingredients from nearby farms. The WAFM builds upon the success of the Charleston Farmers Market by expanding access to local fresh food, supporting the local economy and local agriculture, providing a civic gathering place and opportunities for community engagement. A curated program of live entertainment and family-friendly activities enhance the farmers’ market experience.
The WAFM is produced by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs in cooperation with the City of Charleston Parks Department with guidance from the Special Events Committee.
Ackerman Park is located at 55 Sycamore Avenue.
