Charleston’s “First Mexican Sushi Concept” Eyes Summer Opening on King Street
MESU, Republic Development and Management Group’s (RDMG) newest restaurant, is planning on opening its doors in early summer 2019. Located next to its sister spot, Bourbon n’ Bubbles, at 570 King Street (on the corner of Spring Street) MESU will offer a combination of Mexican and Sushi inspired fare and a drink menu featuring sake, tequila, cocktails, and more.
RDMG says the space is designed around street art that the group has been collecting for years. Patrons can eat their meals alongside works, original prints, and art pieces by world-renowned artist like Alec Monopoly, Jeff Koons, Kaws, Hush, Vhils, and more.
MESU is planning on being open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week with late night service and live beats nightly.
Service and Operations will be overseen by General Manager Michael Sanders.
