The Green Heart Project’s Harvest Dinner will be held on May 16th
On Thursday, May 16th, local non-profit organization The Green Heart Project will once again partner with the students and faculty of Mitchell Elementary School for the 9th annual Harvest Dinner. The event is open to the community and will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm.
The dinner is a neighborhood potluck-style BBQ with food provided by local chefs, featuring Green Heart’s own garden- grown produce. The whole family is invited to eat, enjoy live music, and kid-friendly activities, while supporting Green Heart’s mission of growing a healthy and vibrant community.
Tickets are $20 for community members, $10 for students, and free for children 12 & under. Proceeds from the tickets, which can be purchased here, will support the Green Heart Project and the farm-to-school programs it runs in the Charleston area.
The dinner will be held at Mitchell Elementary School (2 Perry Street, Charleston).
