Couple Behind Mt. Pleasant’s Congress is now Ciaburri’s Interior Mexican Flavors

Published

on

Readers of this website may remember that popular Mt. Pleasant restaurant Congress closed back in February after three years of business. At the time, owners Adrienne and Chef Mark Ciaburri said they would remain active in the local food scene with pop-ups and events showcasing Mark’s Mexican cuisine. The couple has been busy doing just as they’ve been operating Ciaburri’s Interior Mexican Flavors, a food stand at local farmers’ markets, breweries, and more.

The new venture offers some of the duo’s most popular Mexican dishes, including Achiote Pork Tacos, Brussels Sprout Quesadillas, Mole Poblano Enchiladas, Shrimp Ceviche Verde, and Guacamole. They also sell scratch-made salsas, mole, pepita brittle, and Tres Leches, packaged & ready to go.

Ciaburri’s is currently operating at the farmers’ markets in Mount Pleasant, Sullivans Island, Folly Beach, and at Boone Hall Farms Homegrown Sundays (at the Market Cafe on the third Sunday of every month). They also have regular pop-ups at the Container Bar and several breweries. They are also still providing catering and in-home events.

If you want to try the new concept out, the couple’s schedule is regularly posted on both Instagram and Facebook.
