Chef Wesley Grubbs of Minero will be hosting Chef Ben Tanner of Washington D.C.’s Espita Mezcaleria for a collaborative guest chef dinner at Minero on Thursday, May 23rd, from 5 pm to 10 pm.

The pair have created an exclusive mash-up menu consisting of 4 appetizers, 4 tacos, 2 entrees, and 2 dessert options, all of which will be priced a la cart, not prix fix.

This special event menu, which will be available for one night only, will be open to the public – no tickets or reservations required.

Espita Mezcaleria is an authentic, not traditional southern Mexican restaurant and mezcal bar in Washington, D.C.’s Shaw neighborhood. The ever-evolving menu focuses on exploring the flavors and techniques of Oaxaca, while drawing inspiration from the team’s many visits to the region. In 2016, Espita was named as one of The Washington Post’s best new restaurants of the year, and in 2018 the restaurant won the DC restaurant association’s RAMMY award for cocktail program of the year.
