NYC Mixologist Popping Up at Downtown Bars This Weekend

Famed Manhattan mixologist Albert Trummer will visit a pair of downtown bars this weekend for some pop-up events.

Here’s a look at this schedule:

• Friday, June 14th
  • Trummer will provide a taste of NYC at Doar Bros with local F&B consultant Tammi Dower. The pair will be promoting their upcoming Manhattan cocktail bar.
  • The VIP hour will highlight four cocktails from Trummer’s past as a renowned bar owner and mixologist to global celebrities, with each drink having a story told by Trummer
  • The drinks will be paired with four dishes from Chef Jonathan Doar using mostly organic elixirs and local ingredients
  • The VIP Hour and tasting is $100 per person and runs from 5 pm to 7 pm
  • From 7:30 pm to close, the party will open to the public where Trummer and Doar’s Megan Deschaine will team up to make cocktails
• Saturday, June 15th
  • Trummer and Dower will partner with Bourbon N’ Bubbles for a Studio 54 Party
  • They will be debut Trummer’s cocktails for their upcoming NYC bar which will open in August. That means Charleston will get a chance to taste the creations before Manhattanites
  • The Studio 54 pop-up will take place from 8 pm to close
  • During the event, both the cocktails and the music will reflect a modern-day Studio 54, complete with a Warhol appearance, disco, and a DJ offering up a dance-worthy play-list featuring mash-ups of ’70s-era and modern tunes
