Charleston Visitor Center to Close for Renovations

Beginning Monday, June 17th, the Charleston Visitor Center, located at 375 Meeting Street, will be closed for interior renovations. A temporary Visitor Center will operate out of the Best Friend Train Museum, located at 23 Ann Street, while the work is being completed.

The Visitor Center Bus Shed will remain open and fully operational during renovations.

The work is being completed as part of an operations and management agreement the city recently entered into with the Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, which will operate the facility when it reopens.
